Discover the best places to eat in Albania, from traditional dishes to modern eateries, for an unforgettable food journey.

Odas Garden
A homey restaurant in the heart of Tirana. Traditional Albanian food, their own beer, and service that will make you want to stay there forever.

Era
A traditional restaurant in Tirana that was recommended to us by a local guide. Amazing food with amazing atmosphere. What more can you ask?

The Taproom
The biggest choice of Albanian craft beer in Tirana, and their burgers made me want to come back!

Mengjesore Kristoforidhi & Coffee
A hidden gem in the town of Elbasan. Located behind the corner of the main street, lies a cafe that offers a quiet break with homemade food, cozy vibe and great hospitality.

Restorant Redi
A cozy restaurant in the village of Gramsh itself. The best service we had throughout our stay, and the food was amazing!

BioFarm Gramsh
Located close to the village Gramsh, the biofarm offers accommodation and one of the nicest restaurants in the area.

Taverna Antoaneta
A classic local taverna to try the original local cuisine. We are not the only one that consider this place a favorite, so be careful that your lunch plans won't have to change because the taverna is full.

Vila Melko
An alternative option for a taverna if the previous one did not work out. The food choice is similar and similarly tasty. The extra of the place is the furry decorations.

Furra
A cozy restaurant in Gjirokaster, selling local craft beer and some nice food on the menu. Kid friendly!

Restorant Lounge Ajka
Located just across the river, looking at the photogenic town. Hands down the best view in Berat. The was nice, the wine was even better!

Final thoughts
Albania as a whole was a great culinary experience for us. If you are a meat-lover you should definitely visit, and check out any of our recommendations. Did you manage to visit and taste something amazing? Let us know what!
